What is our Prior Identity?
Our Prior Identity is what a human brain is - its identity - as a physical structure of the universe, 'prior' to any personal or socio-cultural identities that a person adopts within human society (The Great Improv).
In short, whatever started banging 13.8 billion years ago, has grown its own highly conceptual self-aware brain through natural processes of cosmic and biological evolution (irrespective of whether any deity was behind those processes);
and that's what we are: the universe's brain, whose life-support system is Earth.
THAT'S OUR PRIOR IDENTITY
This concept simply takes what should be obvious, makes it obvious, and makes the reasons it isn’t obvious, obvious.

Understanding the logo art
The logo came about through a happy mistake by AI. It was asked for a picture of a brain the size of a galaxy, in deep space. Instead, it generated the perfect image to encapsulate the entire concept of Prior Identity.
The brain is tethered organically to its life-support system. It is growing from the Earth as surely as does every tree.
It demonstrates that the human brain was grown by the earth, which of course was grown by our star, which of course was grown by our galaxy, which of course goes back in an unbroken line to the singularity itself.
The exploding supernova, seen inside the brain, represents the brain's origin and nature. It is not only made from the stardust created in a giant exploding star from billions of years ago. But that same star is now a knowing, thinking, and talking brain. Which means that the human brain is now a knowing, thinking and talking star.
In short, the logo demonstrates the profound truth, that separation is an illusion.
